Ok, I wouldn't normally share things like this, but my brain hurts trying to keep all this excitement bottled up for so long, so here goes. Me and my Brother constantly play this game, maybe not together alot, but it's our thing. We don't really EVER get along, but Destiny is the one thing we can talk about, and bond over. For 2 weeks, I've been working with my mother to get my brother a party he deserves. It was [i]Destined[/i] to be. I want to see if anyone likes what me and my mom cooked up... The presents. Three Destiny Mega Blok things. The cake. A chocolate cake with white icing, brown trim, and a message in the middle. "Happy Birthday Alex" With another below it. "It's a Destiny thing" The reason for that, is my mother doesn't follow too closely as to anything we do in Destiny. So anytime my brother is playing and she wants to know whats happening, my bro will try to explain it as best he can, but ultimately fail. "But who are the glowing ones you're killing?" "They're Taken, (explination)." "Oh, so what does that mean?" "*sigh* It's a Destiny thing..." What's funny, is that for christmas, my brother got a shirt that reads... "It's a Destiny thing, you would'nt understand." And now his cake will say it too, lol. The cookies. Now, this is unusual for us, but we thought it would be cool. My mother reached out to someone to bake special cookies for Alex, and her first thought, was to make it Destiny. (aww) So I helped her with picking images that would help this person make Destiny themed cookies. The results?... Even Bungie would be proud. https://imgur.com/a/DCldHsf 6 unique designes. The 1st is square shaped with black icing, and the word "Destiny" at the top with the tricorn in the middle. The 2nd is square shaped with white icing, and the iconic Destiny Ghost in the center. The 3rd is Circle shaped with dark green icing, and the Iron Banner logo. The 4th is rectanguler with dark green icing, and a quote, "How's your sister?" In gold. The 5th is rectanguler with dark green icing, and the "It's a Destiny thing" in gold on it. The final 6th design is the Warlock logo on the left, and "Alex" on the right, both in gold. (And dark green icing, again) Does any body like this party we're throwing? Have anything you want to say to my brother? (His birthday is today) If you take away anything from this post, it should be that me and Alex are Destiny nerds. :p Ok, typing this post didn't help with my head, and now my hand hurts.
