The Vow should have the Memory of Timur perk from D1 Rise of iron.
Memory of Timur: Melee attacks on minor minions of the Darkness have the chance to temporarily turn the target against its allies.
But in the Vow it should be non lethal hits.

As long as there's no wedding ceremony between the wielder and the target everytime it activates...
-
I got my Vow last night. I'm done with Crimson Days. What's up for next week?
-
It should have something special that’s not rapid hit
-
was excited for a solar bow, but disappointed with it though quick draw is nice I feel it needed something more to compete with a Arsenic or Subtle.
-
I always disliked that perk. The "fighting" that the enemy did for you was never very much or very good. Mostly it just meant that I couldn't kill that enemy after I changed them over to my side. I thought it was a waste. I usually used the one that got rid of sprint cool down.
-
How many cores do You get when it’s dismantled?
-
While I absolutely loved Timur in D1 I'd have to disagree with that. For a number of reasons, but most notably having a weapon from a PvP event have a perk that only works in PvE.

Edited by ricstar: 2/14/2019 12:52:06 AMI ran that in crota and vog last week, laughed all game was fookin awesome. Fun has been dashed in d2 and replaced by rng grind fest Edit - Got my Vow running a nightfall, 2 strikes and punching shit, never stepped into crucible, now I can buy it from collections don't even have to do another bounty
-
Forgot that existed . Why did bungie never expand on that? Could've led to something interesting
-
No dude. I cant stand that.. But I could get with: Once you go Shaxx.... Headshot kills with this weapon produce a cloud of pink smoke which disorients all enemies within X radius. Performing headshot kills on enemies engulfed in cloud invokes: Love of the Queen... Enemies are transported into the ascendant realm and return as allies with a Taken effect which lasts for....well...I guess we may never know 😘

I think Destiny just needs more A.I. companions in general. Eventually, I think an entire subclass node based around summoning would be cool. Although it might be out of place with the established lore of the destiny universe.

Edited by Galaxyfarer: 2/13/2019 2:28:35 PMThose perks were created to commemorate the Iron Lords. Since the Vow is a bow belongs to Crimson event, i would rather suggest a perk such as Vow of Love : When you get close to a team member carrying also the Vow, you will get an stronger shield colored in Crimson.

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 2/13/2019 5:09:06 PMI think it would be more fun if kills with the bow summoned a red hued 'taken' version of that enemy upon their death, that fights for you for 15 seconds. Obviously doesn't work on enemies that have no current taken variant. The perk would allow up to three taken allies. Kills greater than that amp up your allies damage and duration. This can last indefinely IF you have the enemies to farm (but there is an add damage bonus cap at 300% bonus damage).
You get it, taken? Taken by love?
Besides, we have nothing in the Destiny universe that summons add like allies to our aid so far (besides Arc Souls). This would be a great addition and dynamic to PvE. One more thing, I want the empahsis on summoning new allies (rather than taking current enemies) because the latter 'can' make games last longer because the game sees 'not all the enemies are dead' simply due to their turned state. By having actual summons, this won't be a problem, as the game won't confuse allied adds to enemy adds.
-
Wouldn’t be useful in PvP so no, bows are already not that good in PvP anyways
-
That would be cool, or how about a cutscene with Shaxx in a tuxedo asking if we're ready for the ceremony?
-
Or the vow could shoot two arrows that deal a bit more damage when both shots hit together. Not enough to one shot however.
-
I would have taken firefly over rapid hit.... it is a fast bow tho I guess...
-
That would be a great perk if they made an Exotic version that you could get from a quest, similar to the Polaris Lance.
-
that sounds like a perk for an exotic
But in the Vow it should be non lethal hits.
I dont understand this part If you kill the minion of the darkness how would it turn?
-
I still need to ring the bells at the RoI social space in D1...One of these days I am gonna have to redownload it.
-
That’s fun, but definitely useless. Enemies do not kill each other well
-
I feel like it would make more sense to have skorris perk. Hold your super to increase super regen for party members

Edited by Fishyb: 2/13/2019 3:31:55 PMI used to drag a Fallen Captain around with me in every mission just for fun.

Basically a head nod to Cupid’s bow except the enemy falls in love with the player who shot him. Cool concept being we get the bow from a Valentine’s Day event. If it was a very small chance of happening or a long cooldown that would be pretty neat. Timur’s buff got really annoying when the other 2 people in a strike were using it.
