(After Loot's decision of telling Xenon nothing, Xenon has left the armory building to the outside, leaving ThreaT and Loot still inside.) Loot Crate: *sigh of relief*. "....." TheThreaT: *looks to Loot*. "He'll be back you know." Loot Crate: "I don't doubt that, not one bit." (Outside, Xenon breathes in the fresh air as he looks up at the cloudy night sky that is raging with heat lightning.) Xenon: *senses someone's presence nearby*. "I guess it works out for me, even without Loot's cooperation." -------------------------------------------------------- (10 minutes earlier, Disciple has worked his way out of the tunnels below and climbed up the ladder, entering a small market building that is trashed with nothing of use inside.) Disciple: *carefully looks around the area*. "Is this really where the others went?" (Disciple walks over to the glass exit door and swings it open, exiting out into a large destroyed city with skyscrapers buried halfway into the concrete roads) Disciple: *looks over at a flickering street light in the distance*. "Something feels off here...." (A few minutes pass as Disciple is looking around the area from his position, hoping there won't be any trouble nearby) Disciple: *walks over to a different building and peaks into the glass window, seeing nothing but a cluttered dark room*. "Hm, I wonder what this place would have looked like 100 years ago." (A large step is heard from a few feet behind Disciple.) ???: *hateful voice*. "luck really isn't on your side, is it?" Disciple: *quickly grabs the hilt of his sword and turns around*. "Xenon...." Xenon: "must be fate we end up alone together, just in time too! A final fight before the destruction." Disciple: *thinks of the past*. "It really is unfortunate what happened to you Xenon, I wish things could have been different but...." Xenon: "but nothing! I don't want your pity, one of us is dying here and that's it. Shame really, if only Snowy were still alive to see you take your last breath." Disciple: *clenches his fists in anger*. "Damn you! Ugh, if this is fate then you are destined to be evil." Xenon: "so be it." (Disciple draws his sword and shield and takes a deep breath, mentally exhausted.) -------------------------------------------------------- (Returning to Worm, Hammer, Davy, and Turtle as they have finished searching the small village for any sign of Loot.) HammerFist: *kicks the dirt*. "Damn, nothing." Worm: "don't lose hope Hammer, we just have to keep looking, I'm sure something will come up." Davy: *bumps Worm*. "Dude, look at the sky, do you see any hope from that shit?" Worm: *bumps Davy back*. "It might look menacing but we already know that it's Divines.......doing something..." Davy: "whatever, I honestly don't feel prepared enough to fight these things." Darth Turtle: "most of us aren't Davy, but we just have to deal with what we have." Davy: *turns to Turtle with a confused look*. "Since when did you start giving helpful advice?" Darth Turtle: *looks away*. "...." HammerFist: "I feel like we should regroup with the others back in the basement, figure something out from there." Worm: *nods at Hammer*. "Sounds like a plan." (The 4 make their way back to the bar building and back down the ladder, through the tunnels, reaching the bunker.) Worm: *opens the door to the bunker and looks for the others*. "Hello?" HammerFist: *enters after Worm*. "Where did they go?" Davy: "y'all sure this is the right bunker?" Worm: "pretty sure this is the only bunker we've been in Davy..." HammerFist: *pacing back and forth*. "The hell could they have gone?" Darth Turtle: "maybe there was another way out?" Worm: "there was only 1 when we left earlier, another can't just appear from nowhere." Davy: *chuckles*. "Pretty sure something like that could actually happen in this story." HammerFist: "Story Davy?" Worm: "we should go back to the ladder, maybe we accidentally missed them or something." (Heading back up the ladder to the surface.) Worm: *opens the hatch and climbs up*. "I remember leaving that hatch open..." HammerFist: *climbs up after Worm*. "Uh." Worm: *looks around*. "We're in a different building now." HammerFist: *rubs his eyes*. "Gotta be on some shit!" (The 4 have entered into a huge library building with only one book row forward.) Davy: *examines the small spot they are in*. "It appears, we are in a maze." HammerFist: "you shitting me Davy?" Davy: "no." Darth Turtle: "well, the tunnels below were like a maze, why can't Worm just find the way forward again?" Worm: *sighs*. "Dude, I can't right now, we've been wondering around for a couple hours, I'm not 100%." Davy: "we just clear the maze then." Darth Turtle: "what about going back down and resetting the location?" HammerFist: "Turtle, what if the others are here?" Darth Turtle: "...." Worm: "it'll be fine, let's just hurry up." (End of Part 4.)
