Hey (knock, knock) Blackbandit here. All these new updates are great and all but what about those enhancement core being removed from infusion? What about updating the stale year 1 planetary vendors? What about making year 1 weapons and armor viable and open for mods? What about additional exotic catalyst? What about additional weapon balancing and making some of these weaker weapons stronger?

Bungie said no And that’s final

Edited by ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ: 3/3/2019 6:10:20 AMGambit= Shit Mode Gambit Prime= Shit Mode Prime Basically a shittier stackier mode of “come with a full team of elitist nozzles.” Like raids, except for Gambit. Might have need of the scout and smg, tho. Reckoning seems like-able.

Cozmo has already stated that theirs no plans for getting rid of infusion cores.... can you people let it go already
-
can you people let it go already
No.

What about the rest?

Holding your breathe over weapons changes? Lmao. Warlock buff? Exotic buffs anything but this season is gambit.

That’ll all be in D3, or whatever comes in Sept, to make us spend more money on QOL fixes.
-
Actually, we are getting some new catalysts
-
Make year1 weapons with mods and better masterwork please
-
Set this to music and then hit replay. *walks out of bungie hq [pops champagne]*
-
We will pass this on to the Dev Team. Thanks.

Edited by name: 3/1/2019 2:52:35 PMyou mean they pass it to the trash can

Better believe it!

Weapon balances/updates were touched upon last update Generally theres a sandbox update with every new content release Bungie has already stated they dont intend to remove enhancement cores And some new catalysts have been added to the database recently and will most likely be released with the new expansion
-
Weapon balanced where touched upon last update? Man I sure couldn’t tell.
-
Exactly why I won't be returning for this season. Anthem is really fun, although lacking endgame replay ability, and Division is coming out soon. Good luck, bungo.
-
Anthem content and fixes are rapid and being discussed openly with the community. It really is a breath of fresh air when you come over from the disgusting arrogance of Bungie.
-
Just the strait openness is the best thing, “hey we know how the game feels kinda poopy but heres what were going to do” and bam done a day later. And them saying that the have a whole list of like 1000 things they want to fix or put in and update is refreshing to get an actual update.
-
Exactly, Bioware has fixed community complaints within the DAY. The games been out for a week or two. Destiny's been out for what, four or five YEARS, and I don't recall that ever happening. Bungie is a laughing stock at this point..

Edited by Merkin Madness: 3/1/2019 6:18:31 PMOther developers are actively using them as an example of what NOT to do. It is a shame. If Bungie pulled their heads out of their asses they could have something really special. And they wonder why it never became the "universe" that they had envisioned... edited for spelling
And they wonder why it never became the "universe" that they had envisioned...
Part of that is how they developed the fantasy that they could enter the esports scene. This led up to the disaster that was D1Y1. I don't think they ever really got over their failure. This Allegiance quest is looking like an attempt to set up antagonistic factions in the player base.
-
All of this.. So many QoL issues that remain unaddressed..
-
You mean putting in real work, some of which should actually be trivial work, to fix things they broke or simply should be perpetually maintaining for the health of the game? Amazing concept. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening. I’m not getting the impression that Bungie really understands or cares about much of the general health of their game, why things aren’t working, or why that’s hurting the community and players as much as it is. More importantly, they move too slowly with iterating on any fixes or balancing to manage the mess that has accumulated to this point.
-
...how fast do you want them to pivot? Because that's what you're asking. Pivot the roadmap.
-
Well, to put it bluntly, the post-Forsaken roadmap thus far has been so idiotic it’s embarrassing they ever thought it was good enough to proceed forward with. That’s sort of Core Problem A. Core Problem B is simply that a lot of the basic quality of life work the game needs, much of it mandated by the Year 2 changes, should not be a massive developmental or resource sink. So, to significant degree, I’m not asking them to “pivot their roadmap”, I’m asking them to get their house in order and clean up their mess. D2 has been light on quality replayable content since Day 1. It’s not a new problem. Conversely, a good deal of major QoL issues (Y2 weapon systems balance, random rolls balance, obsolescence of Year 1 gear and vendors, Masterwork Cores), are new problems they created, and had to know they were making because they were intrinsic to system changes they made.
