(Alright, it's time to resume Asterisk from part 15 with Sai and Jay as they are up against Stark at the gates to the gothic village in the streets, currently losing the fight. As voting came to an end, the chosen choice was 3. The amulet will not be used.) Saitonia: *tosses the amulet to the ground with a depressed expression, knowing he will lose the fight*. "...." Jay: *quickly recovers to his feet in confusion at Sai*. "Why didn't you use it?! That could have been our ticket!" Saitonia: *grips his sword*. "It was too much of a risk...." Jay: "it was a risk worth taking dude...." Stark: *points one of his guns towards Jay*. "Decision making is over! It's time for both of you to die!" (Stark shoots out multiple beams from his gun at Jay, creating massive explosions of energy upon impact. Barely managing to escape the radius, Jay dashes out with minor burns to his arms and legs.) Jay: *looks at his soul eater sword, hoping that is has another hidden ability within itself*. "There's gotta be something that can be done here..." (Without giving Jay any chance, Stark appears in front of him in a blink of an eye and smashes his body into the dirt with a shockwave backed punch.) Jay: *tumbles across the dirt and loses grip of his sword, dazed*. "..." Stark: *turns to Sai*. "Giving up? I see you aren't attacking me when I'm open." Saitonia: *smirks*. "I've fought you once before, you'd just counter anything even if your guard was down." Stark: *facepalm*. "So you are giving up! I see, let your friend die again, just like Hueco Mundo." (As Stark brings up the past, Saitonia charges at him with rage in his eyes, swinging ferociously with his sword.) Stark: *blocking the sword attacks with his guns*. "Really?! Mindless attacking?" (Saitonia's assault continues until Stark is fed up with blocking. Looking to push Sai back, Stark goes for a kick to his gut however, Sai fades through him in a cloud of darkness and reappears behind him, sticking his sword into his back.) Stark: *looks down at the sword in his chest with surprise*. "Dang, I guess I miscalculated my attack." Saitonia: *infusing his sword with his darkness, trying to erase Stark*. "Die already!" Stark: *grabs the end of Sai's sword that in through his chest*. "Trying to erase me? Don't even think for a second that's a clutch." (Suddenly, a small wolf made of blue flames forms out of Stark's body as if it were his own life energy and throws itself at Sai, detonating in a mini nuke explosion.) Saitonia: *loses his sword and flies into the gate of the village from the blast*. "Ugh...." (Stark pulls out Sai's sword from his chest, rapidly regenerating the open wound.) Saitonia: *notices the regeneration as he sits on the ground in pain*. "Damn..... I knew nothing can harm you.." Stark: *walks over to Sai in disappointment as he holds his own sword in his hands*. "Sigh, you're at your limit Sai, times up." Saitonia: *spits blood at Stark's feet*. "Whatever.... Hurry up and finish it then." Stark: *chuckles*. "As you wish!" (As Stark is about to stab Sai in the heart with his own sword, a large purple rift tears open next to them, pushing Stark away.) Stark: *looks up at the rift*. "Of course..." (A human sized figure in heavy black, plated armor with chains and spikes covered around the body, a black plated full face covering helmet with a spiked crown imbedded into the top, and dark eye sockets in the helmet with no signs of life inside.) ???: *adjusting his spiked gauntlets as he heavily steps out of the rift, next to Sai*. "..." Saitonia: *looks up at the menacing figure*. "Who are you?" ???: *looks down at Sai and speaks with a muffled and deep voice*. "Just a coward that let things get out of control." Stark: *stands to his feet*. "Nice to see you've regained your powers Caius, just in time to put an end to me eh?" Caius: *stares at Stark*. "You really think you and I battling it out would put and end to anything?" Stark: *sticks Sai's sword into the ground*. No, but I must say I love what you've done to the look of Asterisk! The gothic look, the castles, the spiked gates, really fits your style." Caius: "I'm afraid you're mistaken, this is Reign-Beaux's doing, not mine. He is assigned ruler of Asterisk at this time, under my authority." Stark: "your authority huh? You must've gotten tired of sleeping in closets for millions of years." (Caius turns to Sai and grabs him by the shoulder, lifting him to his feet.) Saitonia: "what're you doing?" Caius: *hands Sai his sword back after pulling it into his hands from afar*. "Your friends are near the gates to the castle, at the cathedral ward. Stay clear of the castle, Reign-Beaux will show no restraint towards you even if ordered otherwise." (Caius pushes Sai over towards Jay.) Saitonia: *recovers Jay to his feet and turns back to Caius*. "Where do we go then?" Caius: *shrugs*. "Regroup and find a place to settle, I'll meet back up with you after dealing with Stark." Stark: *smirks*. "Such confidence in your words Caius, please don't disappoint me." Caius: *menacingly stares down Stark as his armor begins to glow with a purple aura*. "I am the creator, you are nothing more than the king of the void, know your place!" Stark: "...." (And so, Sai quickly exits with Jay towards the Cathedral Ward. End of Part 16.)
