Saxophone error code -- stolen account?

Met all criteria below -- none of them are the cause of my saxophone error. Please assist -- I cannot log in. Players do not own Destiny 2, but have it installed from a Free Trial weekend and are attempting to launch outside of a promotional window. I own my copy. Players are attempting to launch the .exe file outside of the Battle.net launcher. Players should always launch Destiny 2 from within Blizzard’s Battle.net app. Launched inside Battle.net. Players are attempting to launch while Destiny 2 is already running on their account on another computer. This is an unknown -- could someone have stolen my account? Battle.net authentication is under maintenance or is encountering issues. Battle.net is fine.

 • Hello, and thank you for your report. Here are some steps you can take to potentially solve the issue: - Making sure you are always launching Destiny 2 from the Battle.net application - Running both Destiny 2 and Battle.net as administrator - Running Scan and Repair in the Battle.net application - Deleting these cache / settings directories and then immediately running Scan and Repair:
o %PROGRAMDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Battle.net o %LOCALAPPDATA%\Battle.net o %APPDATA%\Bungie\DestinyPC
- Manually closing all Blizzard and Bungie apps in Task Manager, then restarting
