Please boycot the forums too. Good luck with your 1% of the game players who use the forum and probably 1% of that who cant manage cores. Cores can in no way impeded progression. If you put every higher light item in the vault and infused nothing you would still progress. There is no requirement to infuse anything or use alternative weapons to do anything but tier 3 reckoning, maybe 100k nightfall and doubtfully iron banner. It just has zero effect to get to 700 light or play the game.

Boycott? That’s hilarious. Just manage them better. I have almost 1,100 cores.

if people would spend half the time grinding for cores, as they do complaining about them on the forums, they would have a huge stockpile.

I’ve never really cared about cores at all I’ve just been earning them from playing. I always have at least 7 in my inventory and the most I’ve ever at was around 30 I think. All this “boycotting” stuff is such an overreaction lmao. Just don’t infuse EVERY priece of armor are get that’s a higher light easy as that. I also wouldn’t care if they were removed either🤷🏻‍♂️.

A boycott over cores? Just play the game and stop fussing about them. If your sole purpose is to get to max light, I think you're investing time in the wrong game. I'd have switched to an MMO at this point. Destiny at this current point in its life is a shooter first.

Yeah I'm just going to play the game because I enjoy the game. Cores aren't as restrictive as you make them out to be. But today's society isn't one of facts it's about feelings and opinions

Another possibilitt is just to have all players not spend any money on eververse microtransactions at all until they announce officially to temove the votes from infusion. At least, that way, people can still play the game, but show that they want a change. Besides, without Activision gone, they need to make money through Eververse. If the cost of not removing cores overshadows any benefit of sticking to their guns, theu might actually budge.

Seriously just don't infuse. No need to. Say you have a 670 weapon and a 677 drops from a prime. Why on earth would you infuse that? Just keep using the 670. It will do exactly the same damage in literally every activity. Power level doesn't matter at all. As long as you don't dismantle the 677, it still counts towards your max level.
