EA vs Activision
The showdown of the day! Who is worse? EA, or Activision. Or some other company, vote!

I'd probably vote Konami or Epic, tbh. Konami just butchers it's franchises, occasionally giving people Castlevania Collections and the like. Epic has shitty customer service, a shit marketplace on PC, and buys timed exclusivity on entire games, only things they really have going for them are Fortnite being pretty pro-consumer and a better revenue split for devs on their store.

At this point, irritating business practise seems to be industry-wide. Dont get me wrong, I get that production costs have ballooned without too much of that increase being directly handed to the consumer, and for that I am grateful. I also understand that the current experiments with drip-dropping content into a game (see Elite Dangerous and Anthem) is a fairly logical response to tight deadlines causing nasty launch issues. However I think there are ongoing errors of judgement with what is an acceptable amount of content to launch with and how to monetise games without making it feel obnoxious *side-eyes Bethesda* and that all does leave a sour taste in the mouth.

EA and Activison are just the same shitty company with different names. Seriously, -blam!- em both. It’s why I don’t buy that many games now a days. Too many greedy companies want money for strippers
