Continued Enhancement Core and Mod Component Discussion
Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47706]TWAB[/url]. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.

So glad I stopped playing this crap game. You ppl at Bungie or whoever is in charge are brainless. I went back to playing D1 because it KILLS this unending tragedy of a game. It’s UNREAL that you still haven’t learned from your past. You are the definition of insanity.

So are you now trying to solve the enhancement core problem by nerfing exotic armor and weapons so that we no longer feel the need to up their power level when the Season of Opulence is here? If so, that is not a satisfying solution. I will admit that I am seeing an increase in enhancement cores and I am saving them for this next season. My concerns are that either I will be so frustrated by the changes being made to the sandbox that I will no longer be interested in playing or that if I do play I am going to burn through all of the cores I am saving up to bring up lots of weapons to the new power level as I am having to try them out to see which ones work in the next season, leaving none left over to actually enhance any weapons/gear I may find that I like. The better solution is to just remove the enhancement cores from the infusion requirement and leave them to the original design of enhancing a weapon.

It is clear Bungie do not understand the definition of discussion so I thought I'd help. DMG, Cozmo FYI: noun the action or process of talking about something in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas. a conversation or debate about a specific topic. PS. This also applies to your "discussion" regarding the TWAB.

Guys, at least make infusion and master working cheaper so we don’t use our entire supply on 1 weapon or 2 pieces of armor. Unless we play this game as a job and are sitting on a stash of 1200 cores, please lower the cost. AND LEAVE EXOTICS ALONE.

5 RepliesThis whole " Discussion " thing is this whole studio in a nut shell . All pretending to care and be able to do something to make the game better , yet they run into their building giggling and go back to counting their piles of money. They have lived a good life off the experience and expectations of millions off a promise of D1 and ten year plan. They had no real plans and D2 killed all their nostalgia of the original. You have to be super special to still be playing D2 unless you only play games to waste time. Most people play games to waste time but have to have a feeling of a chase, a reward, a power level etc to chase. The Fun is the icing on the cake. This version of Destiny delivered none of it. It's just not rewarding feeling and then you add the all up in your face ways to waste your time with no fun and it's a Big NO for me Dawg...

Valor is worthless, you get it win or lose. Mod Component is an issue? Buy them from Ada and that solves that. Stop doubling the price of cores from Spider, make them 25 legendary shards each and that's solved. Look at simple solutions first. Bounties for 1 core are seriously not worth the time or effort and I for 1 will not be going out of my way to complete any. Waste time developing this bounty idea when you could be doing something much more constructive, the bungie way

Why don't you guys up the amount of cores these bounties reward? So that you know you can pretend to respect the time your players put into your game. So one bounty equals ten cores. NOT ONE. Stop being stingy bungie its disgusting.

Good let Shaxx give bounties that reward glory points. Drifter’s bounties rewards infamy points.. I don”t really care about valor, you give valor for just logging on. Plus, its not that hard to get cores or mods.

5 RepliesInstead of enhancement cores, just leave old gear behind by having a lower power level cap for some period of time. E.g. All gear prior to forsaken caps at 625 and forsaken gear caps at 700. Then after some period of time (two to three months), open the flood gates to older gear. This would allow for people to experience the new challenge as designed, naturally incentivize new gear without having to nerf prior things, create meta shifts for light based competitive activities and eventually things would open up for more options and a bit more chaotic fun that would ease the entry into more the recent difficult activities (raids and what not).
