Continued Enhancement Core and Mod Component Discussion
Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47706]TWAB[/url]. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.

DMG, why is this still up? The topic subject is discussion, but there is no discussion going on, certainly not between the community and Bungie anyway. People state their piece, sometimes get support from others sympathetic to their concerns or ideas and then it gets buried by the next comment and the next. This is not appeasing the community, it's just further serving to frustrate and highlight the fact that there is no conversation, no acknowledgement that Bungie are listening. The silence from you guys is being felt far and wide, you really ought to start thinking about showing the community how you'll turn this around and get us all back on board for the ride. Not just regarding the absurd enhancement core economy, but in terms of the outburst of feedback following the recent adjustment announcements to. The negativity is not going to go away without some real talk and the window of favour you guys win is getting shorter and shorter every time a positive change to the game takes place. Your move.

36 RepliesNot sure if anyone has pointed this already but just thought of another reason why this infusion economy is going to have to change - Gambit Prime armour. For those of us who have spent time chasing down the Notorious armour sets, unless you infuse them in the new season to keep them up near max power you're going to end up playing against people with a significant power advantage. Cores being in the economy means I'll probably only maintain one or two sets of armour per character in the end just because the cost of them is prohibitive to variety. So it's either bye bye to Notorious armour perks or it's hello to playing Gambit Prime like it was Iron Banner with Iron Burden. What's the point of a looter shooter where only a fraction of my loot can stay relevant?

I'm sorry to say this but Ace nerf is just stupid ! I don't care about the other lame nerfs but... If u nerf memento mori, u literally deleting ace from consoles! Like who in tha hell is gonna run the entire match with a 140 hc with terrible bloom because of m.mori ??? nobody! So obviously a 140 with kill clip would be a better choice, wouldn't take an exotic slot and still do the same job! Ace of spades(nerfed) = Legendary HC Almost unused gun on consoles to -> not used at all! Ah and not to mention majority of the player base are on consoles NOT PC! Carrying a stowed killclip is what makes this weapon EXOTIC !!! The problem here is 1eyed ! Why make an exotic that does better job than wormhusk and foetracer together ??? It marks, recover health and shield thats enough !!! No need the bonus damage ! Or u think we r all stupid here ?????

What's there to talk about? Bungie already made it crystal clear that they won't listen to their players, regardless of how many are saying the same exact thing about the subject and on every other idea Bungie has recently came out with. It is a bit rude and disrespectful to ask for feedback from the players only to outright ignore them.

1 ReplyYou make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game but, Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

So, were the nerfs an attempt at distracting us from the clusterf*ck of enhancement cores? Didn’t work, as Cayde 6 said in D1. We still know that cores suck and now there is yet one more bad decision to pile on the huge stack of bad decisions with D2.

Bump. MWCs are garbage as is leveling, servers, economies, nerfs, crucible, balancing, time investment, jumping puzzle forgiveness in Zero Hour, shield rotation in Zero Hour, Trevor in Zero Hour, etc etc
