Could you possibly remove them from either infusion or masterworking, removing them from one would solve most of the problem. Or better yet, remove them entirely, and make it so masterworking is done through extensive use of said weapon.

Time to show us what Bungie can be without Activision. A company that listens to and cares about its customers. The community obviously has a desire here. This has obviously been the biggest issue that the community has brought up since Forsaken. It’s time to give in and give them what they want. I don’t personally mind them that much but at this point it is a pretty easy solution to start creating a quality relationship between your company and its customers. There is a lot of trolling and useless shitposting on this forum, so it’s understandable that you don’t always trust what comes from it. We know you think it’s a joke. We know you pander heavily to Cozmo’s reddit friends. Reddit is an echo chamber and this forum is a toxic wasteland. But the overwhelming opposition to enhancement cores being used for infusion is ridiculous. At this point not doing so is just bad for business. Show your customers that you actually give a damn about their investment in your game. As I said, I don’t really mind them but I care about the future of Destiny and want it to succeed because I love playing it. The solution is simple, listen to your players. The overwhelming majority want them removed from infusion and claim its lessening their experience. Your attitude in handling this has been atrocious and it’s time to make amends. As much as an unwanted mechanic in a game can push players away, so can a contentious attitude from developers and community managers. I want to play Destiny for a long time to come. Please don’t make yourselves learn the hard way what happens when you handle problems like this how you have so far.

Had 50 + cores starting this week. I'm down to fifteen after infusing my other two characters up to 700. Yeah that's with earning my 1-3 cores with bountys

The revelry event actually helped me get way more cores than relying on the mercury farm. So maybe in the next event we get another shot at getting cores from daily activities??? I do believe however, that if we want to masterwork an item it should be the same as it was before, however many cores to master work an item and however many to change its stat bonus. I’m not so keen on the system in place but I don’t want the game to shower me with enhancement cores like d2y1 exotics.

Honesty, I'm to the point of completion BECAUSE Bungie recycles ALL their perks...The most boring unoriginal non progressive 2 years of bullshit. The fix: They need to essentially unlock exotics or put exotic perks on rare legendaries. One exotic per character is getting old and all the work they put into creating the exotic perks IS GOING TO WASTE. We need to be able to use two or they need to upgrade their legendaries.

I'd like to have several builds and cores prevent that, as does not being able to reroll perks. Embrace the RPG build elements and tweak the economy to allow for build diversity.
