Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the TWAB. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.
• Originally announced in the TWAB, these bounties would cost Gunsmith materials. This has been changed to Glimmer.
• There will be multiple daily bounties to complete, each rewarding one enhancement core and two mod components
• There will be two weekly bounties to complete. These will each grant one enhancement core, one mod (Weapon or Armor), and other materials or reputation/rank points depending on the objective of the bounty.
• Note: When I say rank points, think Valor or Infamy, **not** Glory.
The team is continuing to evaluate feedback over mod components, enhancement cores, and rewards all up. Thank you for the continued feedback. We'll give you updates as we have them.

Cores are fine the way they are

Edited by Dark Raven 2501: 4/16/2019 2:52:53 AMHere’s something for the idiots in charge that might resolve this issue with enhancement cores 1: make them a alternative form of currency for those out there that have a stockpile of these items 2: return them back to there original use for creating masterworks version of armour & weapons 3: remove them from infusing altogether 4: realise that the community doesn’t want bounty’s for enhancement cores
-
Can you smell what I do ?
IGNORANCE
-
For all the players getting pissed than play quick play. For what reason? Hitting legend in valor rewards you with 10 masterwork cores and it’s also pretty easy to get to that rank
-
one for a weekly? Who's coming up with this? Have Spiders core bounties refresh twice a week. Boom 15 or so more cores in a week from him. Weekly core bounty should give 7.

Just relinking the poll, givit a vote and bump yalls! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/251684384/0/0

Well if you're going to continue with the enhancement cores impacting casual players equipment choices because we all know that it does not affect hardcore players equipment choices or even slow them down a little from reaching Max light. As I ran into several players that were already mid 690s with fully masterworked new armor and weapons the first weekend of the DLC drop. enhancement cores need to drop as you play the game not be a separate chore or distraction from the game from the game. And have a high enough probability to get a core after an event(heroic public event, crucible, strikes, story missions, raids, extra) as in RNGesus doesn't love everybody to same. So in summary, receive enhancement cores as we play the game not separate time wasting missions.

Whoa whoa whoa... ONE enhancement core for a weekly? Pssh. One for a daily, sure. But for a weekly it should give a package. Perhaps 5, 7 even 10. Considering it's like 20 just to upgrade a single weapon, ONE is pittance and almost useless. C'mon.

I was going to add some personal feedback about Enhancement cores, but I got Blade Barraged before I could.
-
You mean impactful continued meaningful discussion ? So much win bungo. Are you there yet ? I don't think so.
-
There must be something in the water in Washington I would check on that.
-
I thought I would log in this weekend to visit Xur, but I received a message saying I needed to delete 27gb of something to make room for an update. My choices were to delete RDR2, Spiderman, God of War, or The Division. Guess which game I deleted? It was an “impactful” and “meaningful” decision.
-
What if fully masterworked weapons and armour cost nothing to infuse. Then it would be mostly incentivised to masterwork and could help. Altho i perfer masterwork cores not be used for infusion
-
Have Spider sell enhancement cores for baryon boughs, then you solve 2 problems at once.
-
Cool. But, also.. DOOOOO NOOOOT get rid of SCRAPPER BOUNTIES. The hordes of Blue engrams have no other purpose. Literally. Other than parts and their possibility of dropping these.
-
Maybe use cores for "enhancements." Not looking like a trashcan hobo isn't an enhancement .

Edited by wolfish: 4/16/2019 3:15:34 AMKnow wonder division 2 is a breath of fresh air lol an borderlands 3 coming also. R.I.P D2

Still discussing this? Wow you guys are worse than politicians taking decisions
-
Uhh. One core per bounty? I want the drugs y'all are on.
-
I think Enhancement cores are in the game so that everyone focuses on them as a problem and ignores all the other issues with the game.
-
https://youtu.be/fxnGD15wqqU One core for a weekly?
-
I don’t think mods do really work.. I add the same mods on one guardian thinking my super will charge fast it don’t and mods and enhancement cores don’t have any impact.. Enemies become more power once we keep leveling up. So being 700 means nothing cause I notice enemies can shoot direct hits all the time on guardians.
-
The TEAM needs to get in the Unemployment Line!!! Don’t give a shit what you think, you’re just as useless if you think they have made the game fun.
-
It’s not a discussion when you ban someone for their opinion stupid #Remove enhancement cores from infusing

"A few weeks back" You touched on something, a few weeks back, that many have been complaining about for months. Nice to see Bungie on the ball as always.
