I have literally stopped playing Destiny because I feel like Bungie does not respect the time their players invest in the game. Enhancement Cores in infusion is the main reason for this. If enhancement cores in infusion weren't a thing, season of drifter wouldn't feel pointless to me because then I could actually USE that gambit prime armor I am receiving as I am progressing without the need to grind a bunch of other crap for enhancement cores in order to infuse this armor to an appropriate power level. Enhancement cores should be for masterworking only!! This is the VAST majority of feedback that Bungie has received, yet NOTHING is being done. All we are asking is respect for our time investment. One simple fix. Remove enhancement cores from infusion. You are going to get players back if you do this. I won't be back until it happens.

So enhancement cores do not respect player time? I used to disagree. But now I agree, I think it would be better if they went back to being Master Work cores. But that is not good reasoning. Destiny does respect player time. Pinnacle Weapons. Exotic Questlines that are worth the effort (Whisper, TLW, Thorn, Acrius, etc.). Honestly, I think Destiny does respect player effort and their time and such. But enhancement cores need to be sent back.

Destiny is the only game where I see people want to act like destiny is their job and they deserved to be paid to play it. You have a disgusting mentality and there are harder games out there so don’t call this game a chore.

I will call this game whatever I want. Why defend something that most of the player base is against? I want Destiny to be a game I can invest time in and feel like it is worth the time I am spending. I currently do not. If that sort of thing is "disgusting" to you then you might want to get checked out mentally because that is a pretty strong reaction to someone else's opinion on certain aspects of the game.
