[b]Novice Liam_Gue, the Black Falcon[/b] has challenged [b]Novice VPHammer, the Eastern Gorilla[/b] to a duel in the [b]Coliseum[/b]! VPHammer’s loadout: [spoiler]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/251580198?sort=0&page=0&path=1[/spoiler] Liam_Gue’s loadout: [spoiler]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/251580648?sort=0&page=0&path=1[/spoiler] Our fight today is set in the Coliseum, among the roaring crowds of spectators. Feet stomp and fighters cheer as the atmosphere heats up for an amazing duel! [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOUBW8bkjQ4&app=desktop]This[/url] begins playing in the background, and Liam_Gue leaps off one of the Coliseum’s walls into the ring below. He lands on one knee, head down, and implants his sword in the ground. He slowly looks up as he stands and pulls his sword out of the ground. Lightning sparkles from where the sword struck the rock. As VPHammer strolls into the battlefield, half of the entire ring instantly freezes over. He keeps his footing as he slowly exhales across the field, the ice shattering into snowflakes wherever he breathes. He stands ready to defend from any attacks from Liam_Gue as the gong rings in the stands above, denoting the start of the fight. Liam_Gue blasts VPHammer with lightning from his sword as the first offensive move in the duel! VPHammer dodges to the right, narrowly avoiding the lightning, and glares at Liam_Gue’s right elbow, freezing it in ice! Liam_Gue smashes the ice to pieces with his shield in his other hand, however, and proceeds to send more lightning through his sword, but into the ground this time. VPHammer freezes the rock below him, preventing any hint of lightning from reaching him. VPHammer, in reponse, glares at Liam_Gue’s right elbow once more, attempting to shatter it, but is unsuccessful, and merely manages to freeze it once more. Liam_Gue decides to leave his elbow frozen solid and blasts VPHammer with another blast of lightning. VPHammer attempts to deflect the lightning into the ground with his scythes, but doesn’t seem to quite ground out the electricity in time! The first hit was dealt by Liam_Gue! In reponse, VPHammer glares once more at Liam_Gue’s sword, encasing it in ice! Liam_Gue can no longer blast lightning! Liam_Gue leaves his arm to dangle and charges VPHammer over the icy ground with his shield, determined to make this a close-ranged fight! He smashes VPHammer’s chest in, but VPHammer manages to knock Liam_Gue away using a shockwave blast! Liam_Gue lands a few yards away, clearly winded, but not done yet! He recovers and charges VPHammer again! Liam_Gue attempts to smash one of VPHammer’s shock releasers, but VPHammer deflects the strike and retaliates with his own swing of his chain scythes! However, Liam_Gue quickly reacts and blocks the scythes while striking the chains with his sword! The chains have been weakened! VPHammer spins his weakened scythe around and slices through the chain where Liam_Gue struck it, sending the scythe flying toward Liam_Gue! Liam_Gue rolls to the right, narrowly being scratched by the scythe, and smashes one of VPHammer’s shock releasers! In retaliation, VPHammer releases another shock blast at Liam_Gue, this time sending him flying into the wall of the Coliseum! As Liam_Gue stands up, he shakes his head a little bit and runs his sword across his shield, charging it with electricity, as he charges VPHammer again! VPHammer, while Liam_Gue is charging, freezes Liam_Gue’s sword arm solid, but it doesn’t seem like Liam_Gue is fazed in the least! He slams into VPHammer with his shield, making VPHammer cough up blood as he turns and slashes Liam_Gue’s frozen arm with his scythe! In an instant, Liam_Gue’s arm shatters into a million shards, and the blood-tainted ice melts into the ground below! His sword falls to the ground, covered in the ice shards! Liam_Gue grunts a little bit and headbutts VPHammer at the same moment that VPHammer attempts to headbutt Liam_Gue! Talk about head to head! However, after the hit, Liam_Gue seems dizzy and weakened as he shuffles backwards. VPHammer takes this opportunity to release what little charge remains in his last shock releaser at Liam_Gue, and Liam_Gue stumbles backwards and falls to the ground. However, this fight isn’t nearly over just yet, folks! Liam_Gue just keeps getting up! It’s like this man is made of iron or something! He stands up, shakes his head a little bit, and charges VPHammer once more! He smashes into VPHammer at full speed, taking care to partially deflect VPHammer’s retaliation punch and scythe attacks while bashing into VPHammer! VPHammer coughs up blood and takes a few steps back. He seems to be eyeing Liam_Gue, searching for a read on his opponent. Liam_Gue shrugs and runs to VPHammer’s right side, striking him with his shield once more! But wait! What is this? VPHammer summons a floating ice wall behind him and rotates it to deflect most of the strike! VPHammer, in retaliation, swings his scythe at Liam_Gue’s head, which Liam_Gue barely manages to partially deflect in time. Both fighters are looking grim. Folks, I don’t know who’ll win this fight! Liam_Gue runs around the ice wall and swings his shield, but VPHammer jumps backwards and rotates his shield once more, deflecting much more of the strike this time! VPHammer takes this opportunity to backpedal away from Liam_Gue! It seems like he is going for his scythe he threw earlier! Liam_Gue drops his shield, picks up his fallen sword, and hurls it at VPHammer! The sword sticks in the ice wall, creating a spiderweb of cracks within the ice wall! After the throw, Liam_Gue bends down to pick the shield back up again. Wait, what is this? VPHammer slashes his own ice wall to bits and claims Liam_Gue’s sword while standing over his second scythe! That’s certainly one way to take an opponent’s weapons away! Liam_Gue takes a few steps toward VPHammer, and just as VPHammer gets into a ready position, Liam_Gue charges forward and slides underneath VPHammer’s legs, looking to deal a crippling blow to VPHammer’s manhood! However, just in time, VPHammer swings down his sword towards Liam_Gue’s head and his scythe towards Liam_Gue’s own manhood! And OUCH! That looked like it hurt! Blood spurts all over the floor as Liam_Gue emerges from underneath VPHammer’s legs, his future in bed not looking too bright anymore! Liam_Gue, understandably enraged at VPHammer, turns around and sinks his shield into VPHammer’s gut, making VPHammer cough more blood up and stagger backwards! I’m sorry, folks, I didn’t think this fight would be so [i]brutal[/i]! Liam_Gue goes down on one knee, and VPHammer takes his opportunity! He throws the scythe and sword at Liam_Gue! In a desperate attempt, Liam_Gue raises his shield and- HOLY MOTHER OF -blam!- HE DEFLECTED BOTH OF THOSE! HOW DID HE DO THAT? *ahem* In this final moment, Liam_Gue picks up his sword, rushes forward, and stabs VPHammer in the stomach! What is that Liam_Gue is whispering? [spoiler]You should’ve gone for the head.[/spoiler] Well, I’m not sure what that’s about, but in this victory, Liam_Gue turns to the crowd and screams a cry of pain and anger!
