Continued Enhancement Core and Mod Component Discussion
Hey all,
A few weeks back, we talked about Enhancement Cores coming from Gunsmith bounties in the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/47706]TWAB[/url]. I wanted to give a quick update on this, as it also involves Mod Components, which have been a topic of discussion as well. Please note- this is all still in development for Season of Opulence, and could change.

The team is continuing to evaluate feedback over mod components, enhancement cores, and rewards all up. Thank you for the continued feedback. We'll give you updates as we have them.

Also they are defeating their own desire of having players make meaningful decisions. Once your gear is to power players can masterwork more weapons then ever now. Its kind of funny. The whole reason the community wants cores gone is so that we can use our good stuff and appear the way we like while leveling up. Once. You hit 700 light you get fill your vault with shiny gold lasted guns. You can now afford to masterwork multiple different rolls of the same weapons for different circumstances. Its not uncommon for me to build/masterwork a pvp range, pvp cqc, pve, and gambit roll of the same weapon. Bungies own stubbornes is defeating their desired purpose for how cores are used.
