Right. I’ll make this hella simple for you dmg since the team seems to be looking at mirrors on this issue.
We. Do. Not. Want. Enhancement. Cores.
You like them because it adds artificial grind and bla bla. We don’t like them because they suck.
OR
All infusions cost ONE, JUST ONE enhancement core. I think we’d all be more or less cool with that at the very least.
Either remove them or just one per infuse. If you add many pathes to get them, its just another annoying resource we need to collect like plants. It’s honestly just annoying. Please just remove them. It’s what 90%+ of the ppl who play this daily wants.

Then the rng gods love you. I get maybe 6 cores a week, with exotics, I can upgrade 2 of those or 1 exotic and 2 legendary. It’s dumb. If all upgrades cost 1 enhancement core I would be fine with that. It’s just a big dissconnect though; the majority of the community does not want them, does not like how they are currently implemented and from what I’ve seen, would like to see them go. I don’t get why Bungie has a boner for these things.

[/quote] Not enhancement cores Or Masterwork cores Or more / less / different cores Or more / less / different chores (bounties) to get them. Gear progression should be natural and fluid, like in the last D1 iterations, and milestones, bounties etc should be sufficient to ensure that. Players should not have to pick up 15 bounties a day / week to get somewhere. Or have to choose between bounties for cores vs gambit bounties or other activities that count towards milestones or power drops, chance at god rolls etc. To REQUIRE them to do both is excessive. As for masterworking, look at adapting the catalyst model - more work / playtime actually, more meaningful. No cores required.

at this point infusion cores became a symbol of bungies arrogance , they would be better off if they removed em completely , even from masterworking and figure out a new way how to master work , for example with weapon progress bars like in OG D1
