still no discussion there.. just imposing failing solutions..
So, the pinnacle weapon exploit finally broke the enhancement core economy..
anyone that did not get around to using the exploit is at a serious disadvantage now.. looking at how long it takes to masterwork anything...
Since you guys broke it completely with a mistake of your own (not that it was not a total -blam!- up before the exploit) how about stepping up to the plate, admitting it was a -blam!- up, a failed experiment, that led to everything except "impactful" decisions, and finally reverting the enhancement cores back to masterworking only. you can keep all the new bounties etc.. but just remove them from infusion to at least pretend to have a leveled playing field..
or probably your analysis now shows that there are plenty of cores in the world that are not spent.. then on paper it looks even more workable than before??? :)
oh look there thousands of unspent cores in player inventories (nevermind that they are limited to the players getting to the exploit in time)....
really enjoyed spending my gaming time in destiny, hell from a gameplay point of view, still do, even though some of it is too repetitive.. but yeah.. you guys keep making decisions that essentially tell your players to go to other games...

You make some valid points and i agree that eververse must be removed from this game,but Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Yep this is true. I am done with the increase in level cap every few months. Infusing everything all over again in tedious and boring. And for what? Why did they even have a level cap increase? For disappointing Gambit prime and reckoning? Smh. I am Burnt out. Bungie is ok with dying on a hill for their precious enhancement chores. They really want players locked into the hamster wheel that is Destiny.

5 RepliesThere is only one way to not have to use enhancement cores for infusion: Quit the game. It's worked great for me! I can't remember the last time I wanted to try a new loadout but I didn't have the cores necessary to bring some random gear up to par. I can't remember the last time my level cap was arbitrarily increased by 50 just to force me to regrind the same old content again and either use all my cores or suffer through shit rolled gear for a while. I can't remember the last time I found a gun I liked or exotic armor I liked but then Bungie nerfed or changed it's usage much to my disappointment.

45 RepliesI'd love to see an actual discussion on the matter, wouldn't you? Like a live stream or something to that effect. I had to laugh, though. Yesterday I saw a dude posting on the forums all butt-hurt because people cheesed their way to where he was "after all his hard work". He now wants Cores removed because they "no longer matter". Just one more example of Cores being used by hardcores to make them feel superior over casuals who just want to play the game without blowing hours of time on mindless chores. Feeling meaningful yet? :D Cores in Infusion needs to go.

You can't have a discussion online anyway. Not on forums and most certainly not on social media. The only discussions worth having are always face-to-face. Those allow for much more in-depth exchanges of ideas, actually finding consensus and they improve your social and rhetorical skills.

5 RepliesWait, so how are people that didn't use the exploit at a serious disadvantage? Because the last time I checked, masterworking gear doesn't really do a lot. It just provides a tiny boost to a single stat. Big woop

4 RepliesThere is no discussion on either side. They are keeping cores, you don't want cores. This aint going to change, vote with your feet and go play something else. If enough of you do it then you might see change, other than that it aint going to happen.

2 RepliesEh, the exploit doesn't change anything. What is anyone going to spend all those stacks of enhancement cores on? Masterwork every set of armor you have? That's a waste of time. Both in the minimal benefits gained from it, and the time spent holding the button for masterworking. Masterwork every weapon? +10 stats are relatively unnoticeable, and I only care for kill trackers. And how much gear are people trying to get to 700? Cores are not the problem, players are. I have about 800 cores, the exploit doesn't phase me. My main sets of gear are 700. I could care less about the redundant complaining people post, and I come only to tell you how dumb all this fretting over cores is. Please tell me what YOU would do with all those cores.

22 Repliesstop the endless leveling. then the issue will go away. people in general don’t like playing with armor and weapons they don’t like. just to level. it is one of the reasons most of the players have left. forcing everyone to do the same things each week. with no benefit just to level. when people said they wanted to grind that does not mean leveling.

3 RepliesOmg just play the game. Stop infusing up 1 light and save. That’s how we all did it. I didn’t even know about the core exploit till the update. I have 68 right now just by playing. I have a job and a life. Be smart about it. *btw I will not be commenting back to reply’s*

2 RepliesEdited by ricstar: 4/12/2019 10:57:09 AMI'm not infusing anything yet, my hunter has at least 1 piece of gear at 700 sat in the slots but not equiped. Only new reckoning requires 700 gear and i don't play any gambit type of game, not even for the power drops, I hate gambit so won't play. I've levelled up with just milestone and prime engram drops and I'm currently doing the same on my titan. The reason I'm not infusing is we have another season coming up with a power increase to 750. I will still be able to do milestones with a 650 toon and in the end I will have 750 gear, that is where I will start infusing. I'm currently holding 405 cores and by next season should have more than enough. Not everyone will want to play this way and the way we play D2 is our own choice. I'm not freting about cores as they don't concern me personally yet but I do wish they were removed for those who do have issues Edit - by playing this way at somepoint a piece of gear will drop at 700 that only requires me using glimmer to infuse it. If that happens then I'm cool to infuse gear of the same type

You have no argument about the glitch breaking the economy of the game because those that had unlocked most pinnacle weapons had more core than they could use already by simply playing the game.
