No game is perfect. But by Year 3, Destiny 1 was a pretty good game....and it took 2 years of complaining and feedback to get it there. The Division 2 is a very good game...and it took 2.5 years of complaining and feedback about The Division 1 to get it there. The difference is that Massive took the time to learn the rules of good RPG game design....and Bungie didn't. Massive had a clear vision of the kind of game they wanted to make....and Bungie doesn't. Massive was willing to learn from its community and held itself accountable to CHANGE based on what they learned.....Bungie doesn't. Which is why Massive is already working to fix one of my BIGGEST irriations with the game.....I call it "The Magic Run". The tendency for enemies to relentlessly swarm at you. To the point of them just running straight at you and face-tanking your damage....and then getting behind you and killing you a few bullets. It can take playing their end-game level content to the point of controller-breaking frustration. They've already said this is a bug their working to fix....and they are open to toning this swarming tendency down because they're aware that its more frustrating than fun. While on the Bungie Ranch....we've been telling them that the core economy is more frustrating than fun....and Bungie basically just keeps telling us to shut up and deal with it.

You forget that division 2 also changed things not many people asked for. Skill builds not being nearly as useful, gear sets being nerfed so hard from division 1 that normal high ends are better, not to mention delaying updates to fix bugs that should have been fixed before release. Like do you realize how broken scaling is? Enemies only push when you have low health, and their health is so insanely high when you’re in a group that they always consider you to be really low health and rush you! Not to mention that certain headphones and programs just stopped audio from working, and the very consistent crashes, and enemies t-posing when they die, and specialist ammo drop rate being -blam!-ed after an update... But as for destiny 1, you can’t even almost blame bungie for trying something different considering how poor destiny 1 was and how many complaints it got even in year three.
