Baker: Hey all! I changed the recipe of your favorite cake!
Customers: Whoa. This cake is WAY too salty!
Baker: We think that extra salt enhances the taste experience!
Customers: No, not at all. It ruins the cake entirely. We preferred the cake the way it was.
Baker: Well, sorry. The cake stays as it is. We'll start handing out some coupons. How's that?
Customers: NO. The cake is awful. Your customers are starting to go to other bakers. Change the recipe back to the way it was.
Baker: Nope. The cake [i]really[/i] needed enhancement. We really think that extra cup of salt brought some impact. Tell you what, we'll give you a different place to get coupons and we'll throw in a bon bon. There. We're all friends again.

Sorry, all the bakeries that did that all went out of business. I only get my cakes from oriental grocery stores now. They are okay and consistent, more importantly they don’t claim or force you to enhance anything and they don’t need any feedback since it’s cheap.

It's also much better than my analogy about how Bungie is asking us to play Basketball with a Golfclub, and how this isnt what I signed up for.

Might have actually been better to make it them trying to make us play golf with a basketball ball. It'll go about 3 meters every time we hit because we don't want to break the club, but it'll be super impactful when we finally reach that hole 550 yards away that the ball doesn't fit in.
