Your statement may have been true in the past, but this franchise has lost millions of players and Bungie has had declining sales on every D2 content offering.
Dedicated players visit forums and given the precipitous decline in players even since Forsaken dropped you can infer that the 'percentage' of remaining players are indeed forum participants as well, not to mention the amount of negative press this issue has received via major media outlets.

Far more “dedicated players” elsewhere than here. Show me actual data and you might have something to dispute. Until then, ya don’t. And you can’t gauge dedication based on hours spent. That is like saying that the longer one is married, the less likely they are to cheat. Which is categorically false.
