The daily player numbers were never this low in the first month of CoO or Warmind. Both those expansions still saw players come back and then they eventually dropped off again, but this is different. Literally no one came back for SotD. The population actually dropped the first week it released. Even BA didn't drop to 600k until the final week or so. The games been averaging about 550k this season.
I mean, the PVE player count went up and then dropped by 500k the first week it was released including the raid and 2 forges. It went up for a bit but it’s been d2y1 low ever since. I would have to look it up but the record lowest days for both modes happened in the middle of BA.

 • Take Gambit's padding effect away from the PVP numbers....and we're looking at Curse of Osiris numbers again.

 •
I must have missed that one....
I gotta look it up. I have almost every day in the Annual Pass’s population through arc week screen shoted on my phone it’s a pain to type out and organize and label so I haven’t done it for a post yet. I did however note there was a day where it was the lowest, and they were almost exactly the same as back in CoO.

 • Wow. You went all-in to fight Bungie's wish NOT to have any source where you can follow engagement trends over time. Strong work.

Their name is Wheelaa1. They are the real MVP. That’s how I found the daily stats from D2Y1 to compare the pass stats to.
