For me the idiotic part of this core conversation is this, i never have a lack of cores except when the light/power level goes up but since it takes so many months for patches that do light bump you have more then enough time to gather cores making them pointless( i dont play D2 everyday and still manage this) adding to this if you really want to grind them it is not that hard between dismantling gear, cores from spider(at this point i have so many legendary shards that giving 40 or 80 for a core means nothing) , those bounties that give core and using our brain to upgrade stuff as in after you hit power cap.
