What if fully masterworked weapons and armour cost nothing to infuse. Then it would be mostly incentivised to masterwork and could help. Altho i perfer masterwork cores not be used for infusion

This is the closest thing to a compromise we could possibly hope for. It's as unlikely as them straight removing cores however. Bungie simply doesn't want to listen to anyone.
