I told myself that I was going to get the Suros Regime catalyst first, then I would work on the 3 new PvE catalysts. I put all other D2 activities on hold as I chase this catalyst. Well, 27 games of crucible later and I'm running out of steam. It doesn't fill me with confidence when I have only seen one person receive the SR catalyst during my grind.
Catalyst drop rates really need to be looked at. We need to have increasing chances at getting catalysts until it becomes a sure thing. I have 700 hours of play time invested in Destiny 2. To put that in perspective, this places me in the top 16th percentile for play time. Here are all the catalysts that drop from non-raid activities, that I just can't seem to get:
Riskrunner
Wardcliff Coil
Worldline Zero
Coldheart
*EDIT
I am dumb. I thought that the catalyst was supposed to have a high drop rate, and that it was only dropping during arc week. Based on how Bungie handled the Faction Rally catalysts, I thought that we wouldn't get another opportunity to get them.
*EDIT2
I won 17 of those 27 games: https://destinytracker.com/d2/profile/xbl/Never-EZ

Edited by Amazinite: 4/16/2019 6:32:45 AM27 games don’t sound like much to me. I only just got the Colony catalyst this Tuesday. I only just got the Coldheart catalyst the week before. It took me far more than 27 games before I even got my first Crucible catalyst, which was the Vigilance Wing catalyst that dropped either late S3 or early Forsaken. Good luck on getting those catalysts, though.
