Anyone remembers Faction Rallies?
So... when are we getting them back? Especially since they had exotic catalysts in them depending on who you pledge your allegiance. I found them fun. I liked the loot, the armor sets, the ornaments and the competition to win at the end of the rally the "pinnacle" weapon the winning faction had to offer.
Please Bungie, give us updates on the future of Faction Rallies A.S.A.P.

I've read most of the comments and yes, I agree that D1 system was way better. I would like a similar idea in D2, but not the same. It's a new game after all, they need to spice things up a bit.

Bungie will bring back Factions in September and you will have to pay for it again. On a serious note, I enjoyed ranking up factions to get the class item which I did on all 3 characters. It felt like it was a new week after reset to check the new rolls on the weapons and armor. Man, why did they ever get rid of that.

Then there was an even better farm the next time, which they again eliminated. Then there was the exploit, which they eliminated. And then there was only endless grind. (The exploit may have been before the second farm, I can't remember). I mean the catalysts were kind of worth it but dear God was that a soul crushing grind after the farms were eliminated.

To be honest I loved faction rallys but now we have them in the tower but they do nothing hopfully bungie will bring them back

Bring back factions more like what they were in D1. Still have events with special gear etc to earn. Wear your special exotic faction class item and any activities you do will give you rep/tokens/whatever towards that faction. Not hard really.

2 Repliesits either A: bungie is afraid of what randomized versions of weapons such as distant star, eternal slumber, the loquitor the number or other great faction weapons, would do to their precious meta/overrated pinnacle weaons. or B: they plan on re-selling us the faction stuff as the main feature of another DLC i cant see any other reason to leave them out for so long. why would it hurt a loot based shooter that is starving for more loot to have the faction weapons available with randomized perks?

6 RepliesFaction rallies were crap, boring and just poorly designed. What I want, is D1 factions back!!!! Give us permanent vendors back Bungie! With random rolled weapons, all the gear to unlock, exotic robes and more to grind towards. They were perfect in D1, I really dont know who was the idiot at Bungie who said "lets just screw up everything and remove them entirely" Whoever was responsible for Factions in D2, I hate you!!! I really do.
