Funny thing is, a majority of those complaints stemmed from Crucibabies who think being killed by [Insert Named Weapon Here] is game-breaking, the hardcore players who breeze through the content in a month and demand more as if they hadn't just consumed an entire meal and streamer fans who live and breathe every word their idols say.
This? It's a quality of life issue that thousands of players want Bungie to simply fix or change. As proven by the people trying to defend the existence of Cores in Infusion, you can literally bypass the cost by not Infusing until Max Power. If we are able to do that, why bother charging us Cores at all? Not to mention that, because players are not Infusing at all, they are forced to rely purely on the game's terrible RNG. This means using gear that is pure shit to use, both in terms of perks and personal appearence.
If they take the Core cost off of Infusion and use Cores for either Masterworking alone or Masterworking with a complete perk reroll system, then Bungie will have their "meaningful" and "impactful" decisions right then and there. Let us just level up so we can actually enjoy the content unhindered by a bullshit number that only exists to gate players out of stuff instead being any real sign of personal power.
