What Does $500,000 Buy You in Your Area?
One of my favorite things to is to look at real estate in my area and the places I visit. So I'm curious as to what kind of house you could buy for ~$500k US in your area? What's the best deal? What's the craziest house in your market at that price point? Use Zillow or Trulia if you don't know where to go. Cheers!

2 RepliesEhh new builds maybe 2000sq feet with finished basement. Typically 3 bed 3 bath. These are generally in the brand new areas that often are pretty barren (no trees, grass, etc). I think if you’d want established( it would be a slightly older house, maybe mid 80s build and 1700-2100sq feet. Yard space seems to be a large factor in my city. Some of the older lots in desired neighbourhoods have 1/4 and half acres while new builds all have less than an 1/8 acre.
