You started by saying the freedom to play what you want, but then mention theres no player freedom because were being smothered.
This circles back to the issue that Bungie is trying to keep people by micromanaging the game.
People can play how they want by all means, but Bungie is trying to force people to play all aspects of the game through milestones instead of letting people do what they want and be rewarded for it.

I'm saying that they are two different problems, but ones that share a common cause. Some people are mad because there isn't enough to do, and not enough to chase. Others....like me...are mad becuase they're not free to do what they want with what is already IN the game.
