Nope. Some us realize that Bungie developed a pinnacle gun that was very strong but for some crazy reason can't manage to make other guns, particularly other pinnacle guns, as strong but unique. 1) breakneck is the auto rifle pinnacle (albeit from gambit) offering and it doesn't compete because Luna/NF is too strong? No, breakneck wasn't strong enough. (2) oxygen scout rifle is pinnacle but it's not competitive because of Luna/NF? Nope, they made it weak sauce. Forget about the FACT autos and scouts in general are crapped on by '180' hand cannons in general. You see the proper solution was buff the other guns. But go ahead with your opinion that nerfing is the solution. I completely disagree and don't subscribe to the idea that poor design and lack of play testing should be 'fixed' the easy way. Should never have happened from someone with the experience and reputation Bungie has. Really comes across as a band aid while all resources plug away at d3. My 2 cents. YMMV, guardian.

What we end up with when we buff everything else up is basically something closer to call of duty. Kinda like inflation, it’s kinda slow going, but we end up with even lower time to kills. Plus everyone would be complaining if everything else was the same as lunas and nf. Buffing is not always the answer. In fact this way is much better, as(at least on console) everything is kinda on the same level except for lunas and nf. The sandbox would be fairly balanced if it weren’t for lunas and nf. Of course we have bygones, but that only competes if you proc kill clip. Buffing is not always that answer, or else we’d end up with even more angry people and even more like call of duty style ttk. Destiny isn’t supposed to be a game of reflex and who sees the other person first.

Whoa someone drank some stupid juice. Maybe because those other pinnacle weapons are made for their specific activity? Which is why they are called gambit/vanguard pinnacle weapons. If anything you should be comparing them to recluse and mountain top.

I sound stupid? Lol. A pinnacle scout rifle that can't outgun a hand cannon at range? Oh yeah it isn't made for crucible and don't use it in gambit. Or a pinnacle auto rifle that isn't any good for strikes, just gambit? Make sure to never take any of these guns into a raid also smart guy. They are not made to be effective in that activity.
