Recluse is both great for pvp and pve. I can't use it in PvP too well because I absolutely suck with smgs especially ones with the recoil like recluse, I normally run more precision weapons, like scouts, hand cannons and snipers, my buddy on the other hand runs auto rifles and smgs so this was the perfect gun for him in and out of crucible. But I use recluse in pve content every now and again and it cuts through yellow health enemies, not so much to the bosses. It worth it honestly
