Use an OP weapon for 6+ months? Nerfs happens. Metas change. This happens in all shooters. Things are too strong or overused, they get lowered. People need to change their expectations and know this stuff is coming. I enjoyed the spectral blade several months back. But i switched off it 2-3 months ago, because i knew the nerf was coming. Same goes with lunas. I prepare for the nerfs. This next meta will be changed too.

Fun, skill aquired, accomplishment Why should there be any weapons that are more then marginally better then other weapons... there shouldn't be. A pinacle weapon can have unique perks, some better traits, but their time to kill should not drastically out of the ballpark that the rest are in. If you have completed any of these quests you should not need a more powerful weapons to succeed in crucible. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if these are pinacle weapons or not. Bungie will always make adjustments to weapons and sandbox to shift the meta around. These guns had their time, whatever side of the fence you are on about them doesn't matter it's time for another shift.

Many LH and NF players defended the weapons by saying the people who have them could just as easily get kills with any other weapon so the gun didn't matter so much. Its amusing to think that soon LH and NF will actually BE that other weapon. I have no doubt they will still be able to rack up the kills just as they said.
