You’ve made the assumption that everyone who has Luna got it in season 4. My buddy, who’s not a PvP sweaty, decided to knuckle down this season and get it. Come reset, he will have it. There’s no denying that Crucible has become saturated with Luna’s on console. PC though, doesn’t have the same issue. Why is that? It’s because there is no bloom on PC so guns like ACE or kindled orchid can be much more competitive against it than they can on console. I think as a first step, they should have changed all handcannons to have no bloom. Coupled with that, they could implement the change to Magnificent Howl where it only increases body shot damage. This would lock it into that 0.67 second ttk and prevent those 0.33 second two taps. You do that and measure the impact and if that doesn’t improve the situation then you look at further steps. Fact is, many weapons with kill clip already have access to faster ttk capabilities than LH. Bygones for example can kill in about 0.55 seconds with kill clip activated and it is already comfortably able to outgun LH at medium range. I know something had to be done, just wish they hadn’t been so ham fisted about it and tried incremental adjustments like they had promised would be their MO going forward
