Once again, the issue is not about how many Cores we have and how we use them. It is, in fact, why we need to use them for levelling up in the first place. It's a terrible waste of the resource because: A) You can circumnavigate the entire cost through simple means (using matching/Exotic gear or waiting until Max Power) B) You could be using them for Masterworking your gear or even to potentially reroll a piece of gear's entire set of perks. Time and again, people have been pointing this out to Bungie but they are stubbornly refusing to budge because they want Infusion to be a "meaningful" decision. That is just not the case here. The meaningful decisions come from your gear builds, how they tie into your favourite abilities, weapons and your overall playstyle. Bungie needs to stop forcing this on us. They already had amazing freedom in D1 and now they've ruined it, starting with these shitty Cores.

That's gotta be a LOT of playing to grind up enough to max Hawthore out times 3 every week. Unless he's playing in an active clan and doing the endgame activities tied to her bounties. Which few people are these days.

Just saying... you can park yourself in the heroic strike playlist, every completed strike awards 10% towards hawthorne’s milestone. Can farm catalysts at the same time...
