I just got an idea. Maybe you could add enhancement core drops to the public events, make the public events even more difficult than heroic and then maybe you could get 2 enhancement cores from every event. (At least one event on every planet should be maybe level restricted and more difficult than heroic) Just an idea though. :)
I also would like to be able to choose which exotic I want, just like it seems you could do in Destiny 1... I can't seem to get the Crimson atm. :(

Once you give people the ability to FARM for cores, they stop serving the (illegitimate) function that their Investment Team wants them to. Once you can freely farm them.....you might as well remove them from infusion. Because the effect is the same.
