As much as I [b][i]want[/i][/b] that to be true, I kind of doubt that it will happen. Dmg’s post above kind of insinuates that the investment team still doesn’t understand why Enhancement Cores being tied to Infusion is an issue, and that they are doubling down on their stance.
There is a better chance that they’ll get removed in September, but that’s only because Bungie needs to sell the community something once their obligations to Activision is over, which means that suddenly start acting like they give a shit, and that they are ( and have always been ) listening. Problem is, by then it will be too late. The message that Bungie is sending the community by ignoring this issue, is that they don’t care about the current quality of life of Destiny 2, and they’ll only fix something if it affects their bottom line.
