I am super excited for the story/lore to progress. We are at the tail end of this season now but I am confident that going back to Leviathan is more than about opulence, something big is headed our way and this where it all begins !!
Edit: Yes I miss Destiny 1 as much as so many of you. But as a franchise I want destiny to always exist. The lore, story and this world Bungie has created has become an important part of so many of our lives.
Included remembrance from TTK for nostalgia, as the wait continues. Enjoy 😄 !!

Edited by hazyy-_-hoppz76: 5/8/2019 5:51:22 AMPerfect time to take 4mos off and play something else!!! I did this in October of last year and came back in late Feb. took basically 40 days to level 3 separate classes from 350 to 700. Great grind, but the game has become stale again over the last couple weeks. Time to move on.. this relentless release of original Destiny content is mundane. when does BL3 come out?
-
Thank god this season is gonna end soon
-
I don’t share your enthusiasm (burnt out on D2 and playing AC Odyssey just now) but hope you’re right.

update: ZERO Votes.

I'm super excited for BL3.
-
I just hope they don't throw all their eggs into one basket like they did this season. Season 6: "If you don't like gambit, you can go screw yourself. Have fun!"
-
*more excited for the Lunas Forgotten nerf than any actual content*

Edited by Guardian6370: 5/5/2019 3:03:25 PMThe hype died long time ago for this game , the Dev team made sure of that . Be prepared for disappointment, Bungie is good at that
-
Yay more recycled content , no new strikes or PvP maps , Xur still being a waste of space , 💩 attempt at new content. In other words 4 weeks till flatulence
-
Deej on his alt account again....
-
Y'all are still spending money on this game?
-
I've enjoyed the lore over the last few months. I don't think we'll really see those stories come together until year 3 though
-
So easily impressed. Are you sure your not a bungie dev just trying to create early hype?
-
Edited by TheArtist: 5/5/2019 3:42:15 PMI’m happy you‘re excited. But Cores killed my enthusiasm. All I see is another pointless level cap increase....and another month of playing garbage builds because of cores. Followed by pointlessly grinding for cores so I can play with the builds that I want to play with. Yaaay......

Dude kudos to you for being excited about the next DLC drop. I’m predicting this drop to be bigger than the previous annual pass drops because the previous drops were so paper thin with drip fed content. Bungie should’ve had months to save up content for the next one. I’ll hold my breath on that though as they’re now focusing on D3. Also the last drop should be large and meaningful to help entice players into buying the next annual pass. Wonder who’s going to bother at this point if the last pass is anything to go by. But here’s the problem, the light level grind. I’ve had enough of being forced to play the same content over and over just to be able to play a snippet of new content... looking at you black armoury!! So personally I think the next piece of content will be filled with yet another exotic hand cannon zzzz.. more light level grind and repetition galore. I did move over to the crucible, which I was starting to enjoy, then the grenade spam for the last three weeks has killed that for me. I do love destiny, have since D1.. But possibly I’m burned out now and need to move on. No hard feelings to anyone still enjoying the game though. Good luck and hopefully you guys keep supporting the game long enough to get content worthy of your attention. 👍🏻

Your enthusiasm is showing! Seriously though, it's cool you're excited, but like the last few seasons, this next one won't bring anything new to D2. They're re-skinning weapons and bringing back more D1 exotics from the leaks we've seen. No new story, no new strikes, no new missions, and bunch of nerfs the majority of players are against. I can't express how glad I am Borderlands 3 is coming this fall. It'll take one hell of a miracle for Bungie to save D2, of coarse, all of us will hop on to see if there is anything new or different. Or come on here too check the TWAB's, but until D3 is announced and it's details, D2 is just a repetitive dust collector. Next season most people will hop on to get to 750 and put it right back on the shelf.

4 more weeks. 4 more drops in the player base numbers. Exciting times...

All I can say is I hope next season is better then this one. A month to go and I honestly don't even feel like.loging in. I get on but just get bored. It's the same old places and activities over and over.
-
You sound super nice. I'm betting your wrong. Dlc rarely ever advances the campaign story. Hence I believe opulence will be of absolutely no importance story-wise.
-
Edited by Reclaimer: 5/5/2019 1:37:06 PMFour more weeks until the Pulse Rifle meta, pointless level increase (read: resource sink), and drip-feed content. Hooray!
-
Right because forges and gambit prime was soo meaningful and fulfilling... I'm skipping the next one for a month or two, let others be the guinea pigs and deal with bungies shenanigans 1st.
-
Just play Warframe =]
-
it still won't bring back the 6 million players that left so lower your expectation guys.
-
I see you’re first aboard on the hype train! Nice try Deej!!! You’ll find me sipping tea with Lord Shaxx in ze Cruciblea!

Question: Is anyone going to be using the Leviathan Raid gear for whatever event is happening for the Leviathan?
