Hey Bungie just wanted to bring up some ideas for weapon balancing in the Crucible! (This will mostly consist of buffs and more directed towards console players).
Auto Rifles are nice but still lack the damage to compete with other weapons.
Scout Rifles have a low usage in most matches unless they are Exotics. I would propose to possibly raise the RPM on 150's and 180's? If not that, then increase damage to the body. (I also thought of an idea for Rapid-Fire scouts to shoot as fast as your trigger-finger).
Pulse Rifles are completely fine but 340 RPM pulses still feel sluggish and just a little unreliable compared to 390's and 450's.
Sub-Machine Guns are underrated at the current moment (except for Recluse). I believe that the damage to the body, should be raised across all SMG types. (I have an exceptional Black Armory Atalanta but i can't find myself to use it due to being outgunned by the other player with a more consistent weapon).
Hand Cannons are in a bit of trouble (The 180 RPM Hand Cannons are fine). Hand Cannons of 110, 140, and 150 RPM, feel inconsistent due to Bloom and Stability. Stability needs just a little adjustment because console players feel a little disoriented with recoil kicking back then trying to re acquire the target. And bloom seems to be a big problem as well, making hand cannons feel inaccurate and lose their consistency. So please remove or heavily reduce bloom for Hand Cannons and maybe a slight adjustment to Stability.
Sidearms will be the last one that I cover. I believe that sidearms should have a little more damage to both Precision and Body shots. (They're sidearms and i want to use one like a sidearm. Like a backup weapon when i run out of shotgun/sniper ammo.)
I hope you review these ideas Bungie, and I hope you like them! Please feel free to send feedback on this, and Have a nice day! :)
