Riiiiiiiight, kinda like pve got whisper of the worm, trench barrel, bottom tree striker, full auto on shotguns, warcliff, dawn blade, machine guns, cluster bombs etc.
But no please go on and solely point the finger at pvp when those changes came to better the game mode and not because you want the game to be easy mode and can't unequip ikelos shotgun from your energy slot. 🤦♀️
Riiiiiiiight, kinda like pve got whisper of the worm, trench barrel, bottom tree striker, full auto on shotguns, warcliff, dawn blade, machine guns, cluster bombs etc.
Thorn. The Last Word Suros Regime. Nerwins Mercy Bladedancer Shot Package. Shotguns----23 times. Thunderstrike. Fusion grenades. Viking Funeral. Sunbreaker 1.0 Nova Warp Uriel's Gift Blink. Sleeper Simulant. Queensbreaker. Shards of Galanor LMGs. Ammo nerfs for Linear Fusions and Whisper of the Worm. Fusion rifles....Lord only Knows how many times. But so many times they became a Destiny meme that the Sandbox team had to plead to us to stop using. ...and these are just the nerfs that I can remember off the top of my head that were for Crucible or Gambit reasons. So you **really** dont' want to go here. The PVE community has had to put with a LOT from pvp in terms of constantly having power taken away from us.

Only potatoes think gambit is pvp. It’s NOT. You’re shooting bots 70-80% of the time.
-
I'm not so sure about whisper. That might've been us, or them? Idk.
-
Queenbreaker wasn't pvp sleeper wasn't pvp also lots of those you mentioned were double sided both PvP and pve
-
Gambit is consider a pvp mode. And 95% of what I’ve mentioned were nerfs done strictly to balance the Crucible.

Edited by Freak: 5/11/2019 9:03:22 AM
Good pvp players adapt. Potatoes tell themselves they got killed by a gun when in all actuality they got outplayed. OutBreak is average at best in pvp. You’re wanting to creating a problem that isn’t even there. Which is just as bad as the potatoes that cry for Nerfs. Pot meet kettle....
Gambit is more pve than PvP tho
-
Do you think they nerfed it because it was deleting goldbars too easily? Not that it deleted players easily.
-
Not when a single good pvp player can control the entire match.
-
A good pve player can get motes bank before they die and so win your argument is a double edged sword
-
I think a pvp player could avoid enemies as well. They could also avoid players. A pve player can get a lot of motes, but if he dies to a player, he loses them. Then again, three of the four Gambit classes are based around pve.
-
Lol. Yeah right. Problem you have three teammates you can’t stop from dying....
-
You can by 1 taking out the Invader 2 premade team 3 drawing the attention Also still a double edged sword the enemy also has those teammates who can easily be killed by blockers
-
Lol...
-
Biggest gambit problem non collectors going for 15 motes and dying
-
Only one of a legion of problems with Gambit.
-
The hell you mean ammo nerfs that wasn't pvp
-
But.. but pvp is big bad and responsible for my gun not shooting good please nerf pvp
-
The only real thing I have with pvp is the blink nerf.
-
Why is there always this divide? What about those of us who play both? I've had everything ruined by everyone!
-
1. Because the needs of the two halves of the game are incompatible. The PVP need for balance is incompatible with the PVE need for power-progression. So Bungie's inability or unwillingness to seperate the sandboxes makes this conflict over power between PVP and PVE inevitable. 2. The issue isnt' which parts of the game people play....its the fact that the game is forced to share a single sandbox...and that sandbox can't serve two masters.
-
I was just making a joke friend. I think both should be balanced separately as well. I hate that PVE ruined Icebreaker and Gjallarhorn, and hate that PVP has ruined things like Suros and Shotguns. It affects me every time something happens one way or the other.
oh snap
I mean dawnblade, Machine guns, shotguns and wardcliff were kinda nerfed by the pvp community. But it’s still has had an impact on tons, but not all, of the weapons in D2
