Replacing them with scheduled bounties, allows Bungie to very tightly control how many cores people have access to. Well....until that glitch, anyways......... Which is why people are still pissed. What Bungie is proposing not only won't fix the actual problem, its just another attempt at further control over the player experience, being deliberately misrepresented as a "fix".
