This was well needed. Especially after Activision has removed their grimy hands out of the tip jar. I felt as though you should have always been able to purchase a single item from the store. Especially with the fact that buying bright engrams was never a guaranteed “new” drop.
I will state that viewing the new interface, and granted nothing ever stays the same, I saw that the prices for some were between 8 to 10 US dollars in cost for emotes and exotics which is fair. But there was nothing you could purchase with 500 or less silver. Sure you would be able to buy a random engram for 200 silver if they keep that option available, but once again that leads to the argument of the engrams never being “guaranteed” something you didn’t already own.
I wouldn’t mind spending a dollar here and there for a chance at an exotic sparrow, emote, or ornament. But when you are also fighting the odds of getting that same damn legendary sparrow for the 20th time it becomes frustrating and makes me not want to.
The prices aren’t the issue really, my argument is with changing the store purchased engrams to be a guaranteed drop for being something you didn’t own from blue ghost projections to exotic emotes. If that weren’t to be changed you may as well remove the option to buy them entirely and reduce the cost to purchase specific items to be 500 silver for legendary and 800 silver for exotics. At least with that it’s still at a reduced cost but still requires at least a single purchase of a 10 Dollar Silver Purchase to buy an exotic and still have 300 silver remaining for a future purchase.
Just my thoughts, once again this is just speculation that the prices will remain the same from what we saw in the image within 5/23’s TWAB. Things can easily change between now and Season of Opulence. Unless they are nerfs. Apparently those can’t change no matter how crappy they are.

You don’t seem to know that it was actually Bungie that implemented eververse in the first place because it couldn’t meet its contractual agreement with Activision...the one about providing regular content to its players, thereby providing a continued revenue stream. Now Activision are gone.... All hail the rise of Eververse...
