Let’s allow the game itself to dictate your loadout. If you gear up for the mode, you will never equip “whatever” drops. There will always be 3 or 4 items you should be wearing instead of some random item, especially if you solo most things. Further, that set of 3-4 shifts from mode to mode. Perhaps it’s fair to say your aggregate power level is unaffected, but your playable power is. Why? Why is that necessary? It makes no sense. Additionally, if you choose to infuse, let’s say, only exotics, which sounds reasonable to me, you still have to shift to chasing cores if you want to keep your goto items leveled. I never said progression is being throttled. I have said it’s stifling. It’s my experience, and I’ve seen it happen to others. People trying to clear raids just to [b]get[/b] power gear, but don’t have sufficiently leveled items they need to avoid being carried, or that just outright drop team dps so low we cannot complete, because they don’t have cores. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just saying, maybe you should speak for yourself. I mean it’s not like a bunch of people glitched and got thousands, right? And what’s the point anyway? What’s meaningful about any of this? Nothing. You know what’s 100 times more meaningful - filling everyone in a the problem that needs solving and taking their feedback, instead of doing that with one or two people and forcing their idea onto everyone. That would be a win win. Yes, there are people here with nothing but bad intentions. But, we know what the sound like. And I personally think the forum is a [b]lot[/b] better now. Most of the people in here bytching are doing it because they love this game!
