I’ve been playing destiny since it came out in 2014 on my Xbox, it was one of my favorite games and I was always playing nonstop. Then destiny 2 comes along in 2017 and I got it on my pc. I played for awhile and took a short break, I got back into the swing of things and I’ve been playing this game constantly. The only issue is that I have crappy internet, even with a wired connection I’m always getting about 100-150 ping on average and I’m usually booted from games because if it, but that only happens in the crucible but in raids and pve activities my ping is low. Other times my router just straight up stops working mid-game and I have no clue as to how it happens, once again only happens in the crucible. After my finals yesterday I thought I’d play some destiny to ease my nerves and calm me down but I’ve been banned and I have no clue why. I’m assuming it’s because of my internet and constantly losing connection to bungie’s crucible servers. I’ve put so much time and work into this game and with that a bit of my heart. If anyone knows how to contact bungie about this or possibly being able to play their wonderful game again that would be so helpful, this game means so much to me and to see it being ripped from my hands hurts so much. I just want to play destiny again and I'd do anything to play again so please bungie, I just want to play again.

Edited by GrundleBeans: 6/1/2019 9:52:30 PMUnfortunately once you are banned there is no way to get unbanned. They do not take bans lightly and they will not discuss them. If you've been banned and you'd like to keep playing, the only option is to buy the game again and create a new account. However, if you're going to continue having such a bad internet connection, you'll want to fix that first or avoid playing any PvP activities altogether. Secondly, PC bans are commonly caused by the person having some sort of cheat software/app running in the background being detected. Even if they are not specifically for Destiny, Bungie considers them a threat, because an app can be made to fake looking like they're for something else. It is best that you turn off all non-essential applications while you play and only use other apps that are on the approved list: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/46101 If this was only a temporary restriction for your internet connectivity issues, then it is only for 2 weeks and only PvP that you can't access. That gives you 2 weeks to improve your connection before the restriction is lifted. If you don't improve it, you will eventually face a 2 month restriction if you are reported again. Otherwise, get a new router.
