That people can be possessed by bad spirits, demons, ghosts, the devil, the evil.
Do you believe the documented cases of exorcism were real cases of possessed persons? Or just persons that had a mental disorder?
-
Mental illness.
-
Mental disorders. Watch a ‘real’ exorcism then compare it to medical professionals aiding someone having a seizure or something. The afflicted person is exactly the same in both.
-
Wow, people on offtopic showing sanity and realism. Color me surprised.
-
Makes for a good film. But that’s it.
-
This is NIL’s department, not mine
-
Any person doing a a fortnite dance needs an exorcist immediately
-
People claim mental illness in all cases are just afraid in my opinion.
-
My opinion is that someone should perform one on my sister in law.
-
People who needed serious medical help, but instead had people surrounding them feeding into their issues
-
Mainly, I think it was sickness, but there are more things in this world then we know, so I believe the possibility exists.
-
While I do believe the supernatural exists, I do not believe in possession. That’s just silly if you ask me.
-
It makes for great Netflix content when you’re bored as shit.
-
I believe that it is the right of the possessed to abort unwanted spirits or demons.
-
What we now know is mental illness people used to think was “demon” or “spirit” possession. We also used to think diseases were caused by spirits or demons as well. Now we know better (most of us). Count yourself lucky that you live in an age where you can get proper medical treatment from a doctor instead of having some witch doctor or priest spout mumbo jumbo at you.
-
Well i suppose its a better option than a touch of trepanning, but mental disorder all day long.

Weird people doing weird things Doesn’t surprise me
