Fleet admiral K’raiv looked out the widow of the bridge in the flagship. He looked out at the fleet of hundreds of Phantom carriers, cruisers and warships.... And the crown jewel of the Phantoms, the planet destroyed machine. A voice broke the silence. “Sir....” He turned around. “What do you need.” “I bring bad news...” “Go on.” “The scouting party sent to the planet, ‘Offtopic’, has been destroyed....” “What? Explain.” “It’s hard to explain. Do you have time? I can show you footage of the attack.” K’raiv grunted, and followed the lieutenant to a small spherical room. The lieutenant pressed a few buttons, and the walls illuminated to show video of the attack. It showed a small ship firing into the small, autonomous ships, followed by the ships exploding one by one. “We’ve underestimated Offtopic’s power. That was one ship alone, against a whole fleet.” “We’ve never failed at what we do. Order the fleet to move on Offtopic. It’s time.“ [spoiler]Short, I know.
