I think I know the answer, just checking.

If they removed invaders, or even reduced to number of times a team can invade, I think a lot more people would enjoy the game mode.
-
Heavy ammo makes Gambit distinguishing!!! Truth rocket launcher is way overused in that mode!
-
I just don't understand the un earned pride as invaders. You spawn in with extra sheilds, at a random spot, and ai's don't attack you.... You are just using gambit to kill players on easy mode then think you are great...
-
I don’t understand all the hate toward Gambit. Crucible though, that’s a different story.
-
That’s why destiny has a variety of different game modes for different tastes. I see a lot of these polls....waste of time because gambit is going no where sane as crucible. There’s new stuff coming for gambit when shadow drops....can’t wait 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Edited by I hate Watford: 8/5/2019 3:23:36 PMIt legit actually makes me frustrated because of the pressure of the invasions and how stupid the blueberries can be.

Gambit would be okay if they got rid of the invasion spam. Summon your Primeval first and get spammed by invaders.
-
I like it when I am playing with a full stack if people I can chat with. Solo is terrible.
-
when it first came out yes because it's new, now unless I have to go in there I don't, and yes I'm a Dredgen.
-
-
They should just remove it from the game altogether .... the community has already said to separate pve from pvp but unfortunately bungie did not listen and did the complete opposite by introducing a game mode that no one likes

I like what Gambit is, but the two glaring problems that it has (melting bosses disgustingly quit and the heavy influence on who wins a match that Invaders have) are so in the players faces that it’s kinda hard to get past. I enjoy doing it for a small quest like what we have with the Solstice armor or for the discount bounties, but I don’t think I could go out of my way to actively chase something like Hush, and I definitely wouldn’t be able to grind for the Dredgen title again if I had to. Speaking of, another big part of why I don’t play it often is because I exhausted myself by playing og Gambit during the triple infamy weekend just before Season of the Forge released, going from halfway to a reset to 3 resets in 3 days, playing almost non stop. I got the title, all the emblems, triumphs, and gear except for the Auto Rifles by my 3rd reset, I and played until I had almost another full reset before giving up. Then the next day, I got on, my friend wanted to do a quick Gambit game for the daily milestone, and I got it after we won, and immediately got offline from all the mental exhaustion that rushed into me.

I enjoy playing it, but definitely not as much as crucible. It's something I'll only really play because of bounties but not so much out of fun because it feels so...whats the word...stagnant? Like its always the same thing.
-
I like it but every time there's some sort of forced gameplay quest that is very overwhelming and makes you play it ALOT then I get burned out and don't want to play it.

I like the concept of Gambit. Competitive PvE, where you can indirectly influence the opposing team via depositing Motes to summon Blockers. It just turns to crap when you then add in the Invaders which emphasise all of the worst things about Destiny PvP. Given that you pretty much only see an Invader when they have Super and/or Heavy ammo. So as a defender you have to deal with someone who has an Overshield, Wallhacks AND a Super/Heavy ammo... So yeah... Honestly, I'd probably like the mode if there was no invading and there was more things you can do to disrupt the opposing team indirectly. Like if you could send over stuff like those slowing mine things. Maybe toss in a few fake Exploding Motes randomly from their kills temporarily. Traps that remove Super energy etc.

NIGHTHAWK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT OF OFFTOPIC?!
-
We’ve all played too much Gambit over the past yr or so and as a result don’t enjoy playing it nowadays. The Breakneck quest was painful. When I completed it I probably didn’t play another game of Gambit for easily 2 maybe even 3 months. Gambit Prime gets released and I’m still on a hard pass. Moments of Triumph comes out and I decide to grind for a Notorious set. Here we go again. I’ve hit the proverbial Gambit wall again. Hush sits at 97% and I’m just about to hit Legend again. (4th time since Gambit release) I don’t really care to play Gambit again anytime soon.

except for truth ya its an alright mode

Edited by Spooky_Ari: 8/4/2019 5:27:08 AMIt's okay. It isn't great but it's fun to play. Several imbalances here and there but that has to do with team composition so I can't really complain about that. Truth exists, but it needs to exist as long as 1000 Voices exists. If you can kill me without even touching me behind cover then I need a weapon that can kill you equally as well, but is still flawed. Invasions need to be strong, but there is no real benefit to defeating an Invader other than holding them off for a few seconds for when they come back with the heavy ammo they failed to use the first time. Oh, and get rid of the Level Advantages. They dont need to exist in regular Gambit, as well as the penalties. This mode is not competitive enough to be labeled as such. There needs to be an avenue to get quest steps done that cannot restrict access under normal circumstances, such as temporary connection issues. It's this way for Quickplay, and it should be this way for Regular Gambit. Otherwise, if this "cog" isnt working then, lots of other components that require "competitive participation" for a non-competitive quest step will become in accessible. This is truly what bothers me most about Gambit.

I don’t like or hate it.
-
You need an "It's alright" option
-
ive got the dredgen seal without even meaning to and i still think the gamemode is trash like yeah if you run some crap like jotun or spam blade barrage while invading itll be fun to ruin your enemies' match but after a while even that gets boring. prime is even worse, theres very little incentive to play and almost no way to have fun without feeling like a douche.
-
Regular gambit got much better after the sweatatoes went to Prime.
-
I like it! 👍 Though if your enemy team has an unrbroken seal Titan with OEM, hammer head, and revoker it can be a horrid experience
-
Only Siths believe in absolutes. Gambit's ok now and then but there's just no incentive to win, other than to get it over with as quick as poss. I'll be doing one match a day rather than a long session of it...
