In light of Ben’s passing, I want to reiterate something
It sometimes feels like we never appreciate people enough until they leave us. It certainly feels that way today.
Guys, everyone here adds something special to this community. It doesn’t matter who you are or how old you are or whether or not you’re a “well-known” Offtopician. You are important to us, and you’re definitely important to your family and your irl friends.
That’s all. Once again, prayers to Ben and his family.
Edit: I’ve decided to take a short hiatus from B.net, as well as various Discords, I need a break. See you guys in a few.

28 RepliesBen kept getting banned and it made him feel unwanted and like the Ninjas here were targeting him. I spoke with dmbfan09 about it months ago and suggested that maybe a new approach was needed to how these things are handled. I was worried that eventually something might happen, but I did not want to sound melodramatic. Also, just to be clear, this is not a witch hunt. Dmbfan09 was very clear that it is Bungie that decides how to handle these things and they have to follow those rules. If any change was to take place, it would be Bungie that would have to make the change. It kind of fizzled out there, because I have no idea how to get Bungie to talk to us about these things. I just wish people were able to see the Ben I saw and I wish that I knew him better.
