Discussion of lore is important, but so is the creativity component.
Here's the game: 1st post simply explains a planet and setting like "Venus. Ishtar Colony. The Fallen (or Vex) were doing a weird experiment."
Next response to that post? Adds a single detail. "Yeah. The blasted fallen in all their pirate lifeways were building a massive cannon. Probably for the vault." or "The vex sent a minotaur... into our normal campsite. Nothing else. No reinforcements."
Third post? Would explain another detail. "So naturally I started looking at which fallen captain was around... and put an arc sniper rifle round through its skull." or "So we all landed, saw the minotaur, and immediately dropped it. Ghost scanned and said "It came from the giant spire? Guess we should go to the giant gate then..."
And so on and so forth.
Another post simply starts with the setting and place. Fancy way of letting others join the conversation.
