Why do we lose comp points even if we have a quitter on our team???

I’ve been grinding competitive in hopes of obtaining he Recluse. And in my experience of continuously being matched with over a dozen of people leaving mid game. It’s not been easy at all. I believe I’ve lost over 1000 points from losing after someone from my team leaves. In all this why do we still lose points after being matched with a quitter? It feels like I’m being punished for being randomly matched with these people. It’s not like I had the option to not match with them other then assembling my own fire-team. Now I’m not gonna lie,I’ve left mid game too only after someone from my team has already left. I do this because I’m not gonna sit through another five minutes in a game where I’m guaranteed to lose points no matter what I do. As playing solo and having no control on who I get matched with, why would I be penalized for something out of my control. I know it sounds like I’m blaming the community for being quitters but I’m not. It’s the fact that when some one leaves it almost always destroys my progress.

When you win, you gain points and when you lose, you lose points. If you are trying to win, why are you playing solo? A personal acheivement? You put yourself in a big disadvantage, no communication, no team work, you don't know if everyone on your team wants to win, potentially bad players, and random matchmaking issues. When I want to win, I play in a team. You can communicate, make sure everyone has good guns, everyone wants to win and you can work as a team. Many solo players have made it to Fabled. However, you need to be decently skilled and have lots of patience for random issues. If you don't have that, probably shouldn't try solo in a team based activity. If you want PVP tips, let me know.
