The Outlaw rose up from the rubble and immediately fan-fired his revolver at the Veggie. But every shot was deflected from the shield. The Outlaw began to taunt him. “What’s wrong? Can’t take a little lead in your diet?” “No not really!” The Veggie responded. Shot after shot The Outlaw fired, his ammo seemingly endless. He continued to walk towards the Veggie as he shot. ‘That Shield can’t take much more.’ He thought. And it couldn’t, visible cracks were appearing on it from the force of every bullet. Finally, as the two met, one last bullet shattered the shield, the Outlaw saw his chance and pulled out his knife, ready to strike. But the Veggie was ready too, and deflected his blow. “Let’s dance.” The Outlaw said smugly. “So be it.” Blow after blow was exchanged, each one blocked by the other. Neither opponent could land a hit, it seemed endless. A humanoid pig watched from the sideline with his friend Saber. “That’s got to be the best Veggie I’ve ever seen.” The pig comments. “So it would seem,” Saber replies. Music can begin to be heard in the background, further tensing each opponent. It seemed to go on for hours without any advancement. Blow after blow, block after block. “So, what’ll it be Veggie? Two gods locked in an epic battle for eternity? HAHAHA!” The Outlaws laugh was almost psychotic, it was rather terrifying. “I mean, maybe we can be reasonable about this? Nah!” Their blades interlocked, each one exerting more force on the other, their scowls just as sharp as the swords. Then, a vine reaches up a grabs the Outlaws sword. The Veggie takes his chance, and cuts the thigh of his enemy, forcing him to the ground. He speaks two last words. “You cheated!” “Says The Outlaw,” The Veggie plunged the sword into his heart, and The Outlaw fell to both knees and crumbled onto the ground. And just like that, it was over. The Veggie then envelopes the body in vines, burying it. “You put up a good fight, but not good enough.” [spoiler]Thats the end of my fight with Less doppelgänger!
