Great vidoc....
A few key words the forum folk need to pay attention to:
Action MMO, stop calling this game a loot/shooter
Game for the core players, they are making a game for those of us that want to play as often as possible
Play with friends, it's a co-op game stop complaining that it's not solo friendly
Evolving world, this one you should already know, your $3.34/month seasoal content is going to disappear
More focus on Crucible, PvP is very much apart of Destiny get used to it
Bedrock, this is the foundation which Destiny 2 is going to build on for the next 5 years
I'm sure there are more but these jumped out because they're brought up around here so often
Bungie has told you everything you need to know, but I'm sure some of you will be here complaining the hour after you load up Shadowkeep

There are more than 300000 core players, but people should see exactly what type of game this us and decide if that's for them or not. A casual 1st person loot shooter just came out, I think there are many people that wanted Destiny to be like that game.

It won’t even stay the same type of game for long. All Bungie does is pivot between what they think will be popular for the next 9 months and hide behind a roadmap and promises of future improvements to make short term profit. The vast majority of current players are casual. That’s who the average player is.

Yep and casual players play many games. They can't keep up with all of them. The true casual fans will except that and keep playing. I have several friends that play a month take one off and come back. They have no problems keeping up because we help them get everything.

Think what you want, Bungie is in this to make money they decided what was the best direction to go. They are responsible for quite a few paychecks supporting many families.

I think I've gotten everything they promised with Forsaken and the annual pass. You guys and your stance on microtranactions, please go play a game without them your choices are limited. Yes I know the best looking gear is in the cash shop just like every other game that has them.

Again most of those players left around the Osiris dlc and never looked back. You know when all the casuals gamers could keep up. Yoy know D1 had a similar retention right. Also about the same daily log in numbers. Actually most games lose over 90 percent of the players that ever play the game. You can look at great history over there on steam. Plus there is absolutely no way to tell how many unique accounts play weekly or monthly, like everyone keeps saying most players are casual not daily. But you go ahead and keep beating the same drum the D1 trolls played, I'll be playing Destiny for at least the next 5 years.

You actually do a couple times. For example...”stop calling it a looter shooter...”. On principal you are telling us not to think that, so as to not then say it. Don’t care that you did, but this is precisely what you are doing. If you are telling someone not to do something, they must first think differently in order to do so.

I'll respectfully disagree, I'm repeating what Bungie has been saying for months MMO not loot/shooter. Some players just won't except what the devs are saying.

I get you. Was only debating a minor peeve of mine, the thinking and action part. But as to your overall point, bungle, in this video, finally with their own words, explicitly called it an mmo. That’s been hotly debated since D1. No one can now say otherwise. I agree with that point. But I also don’t think it’s so easily stated that people should get over it. Before it was advertised and stated as an action shooter with some mmo mechanics. Now they’ve made an actual statement of it. Uncontested. That’s what the vision going forward is. But many, many people have invested time and money into the game. Time and money. I am looking forward destiny ahead of us. But I think others responses are substantiated.

I agree people have the right to their opinion but one of my peeves is these players calling it something it's not because it's what they want it to be. Bungie just laid it all out there and people will still deny that they did.
